Blood plasma

Blood plasma is the liquid part of blood that remains when all the blood cells have been removed. The cells can be removed by centrifugation or filtration. Plasma is a yellow liquid that makes up about 55% of blood volume. Plasma is about 93% water with many components making up the remaining volume.
