Motion is a change in an object’s position with reference to its time and origin.
It is described according to velocity, displacement, time and acceleration.
It can be measured when you attach a point of reference to an object and calculate the object’s adjustment based to another point of reference.
An object which is not moving is considered to be motionless, at rest, stationary or in constant position. According to Newton’s first law, the motion of an object can only be changed when force is acted upon it.
